Former Universal Champion returning to WWE soon [Reports]
The Road to WWE Survivor Series: WarGames could get a whole lot bigger. If recent reports are anything to go by, former Universal Champion Braun Strowman could return to TV soon.
The Monster Among Men has been off WWE television since the September 30, 2024, edition of Monday Night RAW. That night, Braun Strowman defeated Bronson Reed in the Last Monster Standing Match with help from a returning Seth "Freakin" Rollins.
Unfortunately, Strowman tore his groin merely two minutes into the match. He was able to finish off the match, but the untimely injury put him on the shelf.
Sportskeeda Wrestling's own Dr. Chris Featherstone recently learned that Braun Strowman is now "100% healthy" and will return to the weekly programming soon.
Who will Braun Strowman feud with upon his WWE return?
Braun Strowman was involved in a heated feud with "Big" Bronson Reed before taking an injury hiatus. Amidst his absence, the Australian star shifted his focus to Seth Rollins. The two men faced each other in a barnburner at Crown Jewel, which saw The Visionary pick up the win.
However, it looks like things are far from over between Reed and Rollins. On the RAW after Crown Jewel, Bronson Reed cost Seth Rollins a chance to become the No. 1 contender for Gunther's WWE World Heavyweight Championship. A potential rematch between the two arch-rivals will likely be on the cards for Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event 2024.
This leaves Braun Strowman without a clear path unless Triple H inserts him into the Seth Rollins-Bronson Reed program and makes it a triple-threat match on November 30.
Interestingly, Bron Breakker is looking for a new challenger. Could The Monster Of All Monsters set his sights on winning the Intercontinental Championship? The mere thought of seeing these two behemoths in the same ring would get the people talking. Will the creative go this route, only time will tell. However,
