Huge report on John Cena's retirement

As he has already said, John Cena will end his career once and for all in 2025. Now, a report has shed more light on what plans might be in place now that the star is heading into retirement.

At WWE Money in the Bank 2024, Cena appeared to announce that it was time for his in-ring career to end. He said that he was retiring, but to the relief of fans, it was not immediate. John would wrestle through 2025, with the WrestleMania 41 event being his last-ever 'Mania. There was no talk of whom the 16-time world champion would face or how involved he would be heading into his retirement with WWE.

Further details have been reported about the end of the star's career in WWE. As it turns out, the star has plans for next year. When RAW shifts to Netflix, the company appears to be getting ready for John Cena to become heavily involved, according to a report by WRKD Wrestling.

The initial few months of RAW joining Netflix will apparently see "heavy" involvement from him.

"John Cena will be a heavy presence on the initial few months of #WWERaw joining @netflix, kicking off his retirement tour."

John Cena has many options for a last match in WWE

Given his long career in WWE, Cena has many rivals with whom he may have a last match. While many feel that it's destiny that he faces Randy Orton in his last-ever WWE match, it remains to be seen who he chooses.

Given Cena's pattern over the last few matches, he has preferred to put over newer stars in the company, giving them wins. There has been talk of a match with Gunther, but no confirmation.

The upcoming year will make a lot of revelations about how Cena bows out of WWE.
