John Cena plans for WrestleMania 41 reportedly revealed

WWE Superstar John Cena is set to make his electrifying return to the Stamford-based promotion's television in 2025. The Cenation Leader will hang up his boots at the end of next year. However, according to a recent report, the company might already have massive plans for the 16-time World Champion's dream match at WrestleMania 41.

John Cena is one of the greatest names to ever step foot inside the squared circle. The Chain Gang Soldier has been at the top of his games for over two decades. In recent years, Cena has shifted his career to Hollywood and has made a massive name in the movie industry. However, despite his packed movie schedule, the 16-time world champion occasionally shows up on WWE TV.

Last year at Money in the Bank, the 47-year-old made his surprise return to address the crowd. During his promo, Cena revealed that he was planning to retire at the end of 2025. Later, it was announced that The Cenation Leader would be available for all the big WWE events next year, including WrestleMania 41.

Meanwhile, Xero News' official X/Twitter handle recently reported that the Triple H-led creative team might already have plans for Cena's major match at next year's Show of Shows. The report highlighted several big contests, including a dream match between the 16-time world champion and Randy Orton.

Randy Orton revealed that he asked John Cena for one last WWE match in 2025

During Cody Rhodes' What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast, Randy Orton said that he asked John Cena for one last match ahead of the latter's retirement announcement.

However, The Cenation Leader said that he would abide by whatever the Triple H-led creative team had planned for him.

"I said, 'What do you think?'" Orton recalled. "And he was like, 'Randy, you know I've never pitched anything. I always do my best with whatever they give me.' I'm like, 'Man, that's me.' I've never had a pitch. I've never set myself up to be let down. I'm never like, 'Hey, writers, here's a six-page storyboard of everything I wanna do for the next six months.' Not once. Not once."
