LA Knight set for a blockbuster WWE championship match - Reports
WWE Superstar LA Knight could be heading into Clash at the Castle for a major United States Title match. The premium live event will emanate from the OVO Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, on June 15.
The Megastar has failed to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship on two occasions. First, he suffered defeat at the hands of Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel 2023, and then The Tribal Chief retained his title against The Megastar, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton in a Fatal Four-Way match at Royal Rumble 2024.
On the May 31, 2024, edition of SmackDown, Nick Aldis told Knight that Logan Paul was absent from the blue show. During a backstage conversation with Kayla Braxton, The Megastar called out Paul, stating he wants the United States Championship.
As per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE will kickstart a program between The Maverick and LA Knight on tonight's SmackDown. The report also noted that Logan Paul is expected to defend his US Title against the 41-year-old star at Clash at the Castle on June 15.
Former WWE star says LA Knight's major accomplishment could be defeating Logan Paul
The Megastar has been a fan favorite for the past year and a half. Even though the 41-year-old star has yet to bag any singles titles, he receives a loud reception from the wrestling world.
The former WWE star Aiden English recently spoke about LA Knight's future. Speaking on the Rebooked podcast, the former NXT Tag Team Champion stated it would be a "big attaboy" for The Megastar if he dethrones Paul.
"I don't know. Beating Logan Paul for the U.S. Title could be big attaboy for him," he said.

The Maverick has defended his US Championship against the likes of Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. However, the 29-year-old star has never faced Knight in a one-on-one match.
Fans will be ecstatic to witness a match between The Maverick and The Megastar for the United States Title.
