Latest update on WWE booking a Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series

Those questioning when WWE will begin building towards a women's WarGames match at this year's Survivor Series will, unfortunately, have to continue waiting.

Last year's Survivor Series featured two epic WarGames matches, including a women's 5-on-5 bout. While the company has yet to confirm that the match stipulation is returning, multiple reports – including teases on RAW and SmackDown – have all but confirmed that the double cage match will be featured at this year's Survivor Series PLE.

However, one question on the minds of many fans is the involvement of a women's WarGames match. According to Steve Carrier of Ringside News, WWE currently has no plans for a women's edition of the infamous bout:

"WWE is planning a men's WarGames match for Survivor Series, but what about the women? We are told that a women's WarGames match has not been decided on at this moment," said Carrier on Twitter (X).

To say that this year's anticipation for Survivor Series is high would be an understatement, as fan expectations are through the roof. This is mainly fueled by rumors of WarGames, the return of Randy Orton, and the possibly earth-shattering return of Chicago's own CM Punk.

WWE has made more seats available ahead of Survivor Series

According to WrestleTix, WWE today officially made all seats inside Allstate Arena available for purchase. The current setup will now allow for over 16,000 fans in Chicago to attend the historic event.

"WWE has added the last four available sections and is now fully open for this year's Survivor Series at the Allstate Arena. The new setup/configuration accommodates 16,860 seats, with 15,128 tickets distributed as of this moment." - WrestleTix, Twitter (X)

The additional seating has added even more speculation that the company is planning a massive show for fans next month. Survivor Series is traditionally viewed as one of the most important PLEs on the company's calendar, but this year's event could go even further.

This new configuration also brings in speculation that the company will need to change its ramp style for Survivor Series, as the newly available seats would typically be marked as unusable due to the traditionally large stage setup.
