Major change in WWE's plans for Roman Reigns in early 2025 - Reports (Exclusive)

Roman Reigns is all set to enter WarGames for the second time since 2022. Amid his feud with Solo Sikoa's Bloodline, many wonder what lies ahead for him after that. A new report has emerged about a possible change in WWE's plans for The OTC in early 2025.

On WrestleVotes Radio Exclusively on Backstage Pass, JoeyVotes and TC discussed the RAW on Netflix move and how WWE intends to go all guns blazing for the premiere in January. It seems all but certain that the biggest names in the industry, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, will be there for the first episode.

However, JoeyVotes reported that WWE is going to utilize Roman Reigns heavily on RAW for the early part of 2025. This could signal a change from his usual SmackDown schedule. As WWE wants to get as many eyeballs on RAW on Netflix as possible, it seems to be the logical decision to give first-time viewers the biggest star possible.

It isn't confirmed if he will be around on RAW up until WrestleMania, but he is expected to stick around even after the 2025 Royal Rumble.

WWE left things on a cliffhanger with Roman Reigns on SmackDown

As Roman Reigns continued to be on the losing end of his battle against The New Bloodline, he looked frustrated and almost clueless sitting backstage. In a huge moment, he used his phone's voice command to call The Wiseman, i.e. Paul Heyman.

However, the recording said that the number he was trying to reach was no longer in service. As you likely recall, Heyman has been out for months after Solo Sikoa's Bloodline took him out.

Many expect Paul Heyman to reunite with The OTC, but the way things ended on SmackDown felt like nothing short of a post-credit movie scene. It's going to be a turbulent end to 2024 with The Bloodline Civil War.
