Major CM Punk spoiler ahead of WWE RAW - Reports

Tonight's WWE RAW will be one of the final episodes of the year, moving the company one step closer to the big Netflix premiere. Amid rumors of a major upcoming match, CM Punk was present for Saturday Night's Main Event, and now sources have revealed what's next for the former WWE Champion.

Two episodes of RAW will be taped tonight at the TD Garden in Boston. Superstars will return from the Christmas holiday with just one more episode before the big Netflix premiere on January 6. After conquering Drew McIntyre, and helping The OG Bloodline win WarGames, Punk is now expected to feud with Seth Rollins to kick off 2025 and a new era for the red brand.

The Second City Saint is scheduled to open tonight's RAW broadcast from Boston, according to Wrestlevotes. It's not clear what Punk has in store for the WWE Universe, but speculation is that the former AEW World Champion will call out The Visionary. The company has confirmed both Superstars for tonight's show.

Sources reported over the weekend, via PWInsider, that Punk vs. Rollins is "100% the current direction" for the RAW Netflix premiere. It was also noted that Punk vs. Rollins is part of the company's plan to come in "nuclear hot" on the streaming giant.

Tonight's RAW will also feature SNME fallout. Below is the updated lineup:

  • Seth Rollins will appear live
  • CM Punk will appear live and address Rollins
  • Kofi Kingston returns home to Boston
  • World Tag Team Championship: Finn Balor and JD McDonagh (c) vs. Erik and Ivar
  • Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ludwig Kaiser

Officials have not announced any matches for next week's taped RAW. However, the tournament to crown the inaugural Women's Intercontinental Champion is expected to continue over both episodes.
