Major first-time ever match to main event WWE RAW - Reports

A massive match is reportedly set to main event tonight's episode of WWE RAW. A huge segment with SummerSlam implications will be opening tonight's edition of the red brand.

The Judgment Day's Damian Priest will be defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther this Saturday night at WWE SummerSlam. Gunther earned the title opportunity by winning the King of the Ring tournament earlier this year. The Ring General and The Archer of Infamy were sent home from last week's RAW after the two stars had a brawl. The leader of Imperium also insulted the entire Judgment Day faction and referred to the group as "street trash".

According to a new report from PW Insider, Gunther will be squaring off against Finn Balor in the main event of tonight's show. The two stars have never faced each other in WWE and will battle tonight on RAW.

Damian Priest captured the World Heavyweight Championship by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL. Gunther was Intercontinental Champion for 666 days before being dethroned by Sami Zayn at The Show of Shows in April. It will be interesting to see if the 36-year-old can defeat Finn Balor to pick up some momentum ahead of his World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam.
