Major name taking time away from WWE; replacement revealed - Reports
A major name in WWE is reportedly taking some time off and the name of his replacement has come to light. The promotion is set for tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown in Buffalo, New York.
Michael "PS" Hayes has worked with the promotion for three decades and is now one of the top producers backstage. The legend is responsible for producing some of the most iconic Bloodline moments over the past few years.
A new report from Fightful Select revealed that the veteran was taking some much-deserved time off for personal reasons. It also disclosed that Jamie Noble had taken over producing Bloodline segments on SmackDown for the time being, and Hayes was expected to return to the company following his hiatus.
Noble produced The Bloodline's Six-Man Tag Team Match at Crown Jewel this past Saturday night. Bobby Roode and Jamie Noble also produced the faction's Tag Team Match against Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns at Bad Blood last month.
Roman Reigns and The Usos are set for a major segment with Sami Zayn tonight on WWE SmackDown. The former Honorary Uce accidentally leveled the Original Tribal Chief at Crown Jewel, and Jey Uso then invited Sami Zayn to tonight's show to smooth things over face-to-face with the OTC.
Former WWE employee does not believe Michael Hayes could replace Triple H
Triple H currently serves as the Chief Content Officer for the promotion, and a former WWE employee believes that Michael Hayes could not do the same role.
Speaking on the Behind The Turnbuckle podcast with Jonathan Coachman, Tommy Carlucci stated that Hayes would not be able to do what The Game does for the company. He claimed that Hayes was more of a storyteller, and business wasn't his strength.
"Michael Hayes can't do it. He's more of a storyteller-in-the-ring type of guy. He's not a business guy. You know, Michael is good at the business of wrestling. But business across the board, no way," he said. [From 26:02 to 26:15]

Tonight's show will be the first episode of SmackDown following Crown Jewel. It will be interesting to see what the company has in store for fans as the road to Survivor Series on November 30 kicks off on the blue brand.
