Major star ignored WWE's calls all week; Nick Khan had to personally call him - Reports
According to a recent report, a top star ignored WWE's calls over the past week, prompting Nick Khan to intervene and personally approach him. R-Truth was unhappy with how he was let go and ignored the company's approaches this week.
R-Truth, aka Ron Killings, is back in World Wrestling Entertainment under the Triple H regime following massive fan backlash. He attacked John Cena during the main event of Money in the Bank 2025, receiving a loud response from the fans in attendance. Truth's interference helped Cody Rhodes connect the Cross Rhodes and pin The Cenation Leader in their tag match.
As per a new report by Fightful Select, R-Truth wasn't happy with the way his release was handled. He ignored WWE's calls over the past week and ultimately decided to speak with Nick Khan when he reached out to him.
The report also noted that the deal was a "meeting halfway" situation.
As per a talent, Truth was let go "in a very cold and impersonal way." He was informed of his release by a talent relations employee. After Nick Khan approached Truth, the two parties reached an agreement on a new deal, leading to the big return.
