Major title match set to main event WWE SummerSlam - Reports

A massive title match is reportedly set to close WWE SummerSlam this weekend. The premium live event will take place tomorrow night in Cleveland, Ohio.

Solo Sikoa has named himself the new Tribal Chief and will be challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship tomorrow night at SummerSlam. According to WrestleOps on X (fka Twitter), the match between The American Nightmare and Sikoa has been confirmed as the main event of the show.

Cody Rhodes captured the title from Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania XL Night Two. Roman Reigns has not yet returned to the promotion following the loss at The Show of Shows in April.

The Bloodline's Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga will be challenging #DIY's Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano for the WWE Tag Team Championship tonight on SmackDown. The duo earned the title shot by winning a Gauntlet Match last Friday night on SmackDown, beating five other teams.

WWE legend makes prediction about Cody Rhodes' title reign

Wrestling veteran, Hulk Hogan recently suggested that Cody Rhodes could have some longevity as champion.

Rhodes finally finished his story at WrestleMania XL and conquered Roman Reigns. The American Nightmare lost to Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 39 due to interference from Solo Sikoa but was able to get his revenge a year later.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor, Bill Apter, Hulk Hogan praised Rhodes' work ethic. He added that the popular star could have some longevity as a champion and appears to be on his way to greatness.

"I think Cody has worked real, real hard to niche out for himself. I think he deserves to be exactly where he's at. He's cool, calm, and collected, very methodical, and I think he's got some serious, serious longevity. I love his work. I love his work. He's doing a really great job up there, and I've seen some really good stuff with him and Seth [Rollins], some really believable stuff, and it looks like he's on to greatness," he said.
