Major update on Jimmy Uso amid WWE hiatus - Reports

There has been an update regarding Jimmy Uso's status during his hiatus from the company. The veteran has not appeared on WWE SmackDown since he was betrayed by The Bloodline on April 12.

In a new update from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the former champion is reportedly "fine." Uso's father, Hall of Famer Rikishi, shared an update earlier today asking fans to pray for his son.

"In following up with people in WWE, they say that they've spoken to Jimmy Uso, who says he's fine. I don't have any further context beyond that," he wrote.

Jimmy Uso helped Roman Reigns defeat Jey Uso at SummerSlam 2023 in a Tribal Combat match. Main Event Jey left The Bloodline following the match and became a singles star on RAW.

Jey Uso defeated his brother in a singles match at WrestleMania XL, prompting Solo Sikoa to kick the veteran out of The Bloodline. Sikoa and Tama Tonga brutally attacked Uso on the SmackDown after WrestleMania XL, and he has not returned since.

Sam Roberts predicts when Jimmy Uso will return to WWE

Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts recently shared a scenario where Jimmy Uso could return to WWE television.

Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts stated that The Bloodline could add another member in the weeks ahead to have five members for a potential WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series in November. He added that Uso could then return to combat his former faction.

"And then you go, 'Well, what about all these rumors of another person, another Tongan being added to the new Bloodline?' And that's extremely possible...So if they add another member of Solo Sikoa's Bloodline before Survivor Series and they've got a lot of time to do it so I wouldn't be shocked, especially if that new member comes in at Bad Blood and interferes in the business of Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa vs. Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Well, now Solo's Bloodline has five members. Okay, once Solo's Bloodline has five members, that's the return of Jimmy Uso," he added. (15:19 - 17:29)
