Major update on Liv Morgan's condition after being busted open at WWE SNME - Reports
There has been a major update regarding Liv Morgan's status following her match at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. The 30-year-old defended her Women's World Championship against IYO SKY at the show last night on Long Island, New York.
IYO SKY caught the Women's World Champion with a knee to the face during the title match last night and busted her open. According to a new report from Fightful Select, Morgan did not suffer a broken nose at Saturday Night's Main Event, as reported by PW Insider earlier. Fightful noted that Morgan was busted open due to a piercing, and not because of SKY's knee to her face.
Rhea Ripley showed up following Liv Morgan's victory at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event and confronted the Women's World Champion on the entrance ramp. Morgan raised the title in The Eradicator's face, but the two stars did not get physical.
The Miracle Kid sent a message to Ripley earlier today on social media ahead of tomorrow night's episode of WWE RAW.
Liv Morgan reflects on her WWE debut
Women's World Champion Liv Morgan recently opened up about being disappointed with her debut on WWE's main roster.
In an interview with Inside the Ropes, Morgan discussed debuting on the main roster as a member of The Riott Squad faction. The stable consisted of Ruby Riott (now known as Ruby Soho in AEW), Sarah Logan (now known as Valhalla), and Morgan. She noted that she was upset because she didn't view herself as a tag team wrestler, but admitted that her time in the group was very important for her development as a performer.
"Way more important for my development than I thought or knew at the time. I remember I was actually a little bit upset, in a way, just because I didn’t view myself as a tag team wrestler, I viewed myself as a singles competitor. Also, I was only a singles competitor up until that time, so I wasn’t too excited at the thought of it, even though I was so excited at the thought of finally being on RAW or SmackDown," Liv Morgan said.
The Judgment Day star has held the Women's World Championship for 204 days now. Only time will tell if Rhea Ripley can capture the title from Liv Morgan in the weeks ahead on WWE RAW.
