Major update on Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes potentially moving to WWE RAW - Reports
There has been a major update regarding the rumors of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes potentially making the switch from SmackDown to WWE RAW. The red brand will be debuting on Netflix in January 2025.
According to a new report from PW Insider, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns will not be switching brands when the red brand moves to Netflix next year. The report noted that the company is trying to make the RAW debut on Netflix as important as possible, and are trying to have its biggest stars appear on the show for it.
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teamed up to defeat The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match at WWE Bad Blood last month. The Original Tribal Chief recently reunited with The Usos and Sami Zayn and will be competing in a WarGames Match against Solo Sikoa's team on November 30.
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is currently in a personal rivalry with Kevin Owens on SmackDown. The Prizefighter took Randy Orton out with a Piledriver earlier this month and The American Nightmare is out for revenge.
Former WWE manager reacts to Roman Reigns' storyline on SmackDown
Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell shared his thoughts on Roman Reigns being unable to reach Paul Heyman this past Friday night on WWE SmackDown.
The Head of the Table tried to call Heyman in the final moments of last Friday's show, but The Wiseman's phone was not reachable. Speaking on the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell noted that it was a great cliffhanger for fans, and joked that he might have to call Heyman himself to find out if he could reach him.
"That was a great finish. It really was. It leaves you, I'm glad they had this following the main event because it left on a high note. Now you got something to look forward to. Wait a minute, did he disconnect his number, where is he? Now people are thinking about that. I was thinking about it myself. I may even call Paul myself tonight to see if he's there."
