Major update on The Bloodline's match at WWE Money in the Bank - Reports
Following WWE WrestleMania XL, fans have witnessed a new version of The Bloodline, with Solo Sikoa emerging as its leader. A new report has provided a potential update on the plans for the heel group heading into Money in the Bank 2024 in Toronto, Canada.
After kicking out Jimmy Uso from the faction, The Street Champion of the Island recruited Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Last week on SmackDown, all the members of the group acknowledged Sikoa as their new Tribal Chief, except Paul Heyman. Due to The Wiseman's refusal to acknowledge the 31-year-old, The Bloodline viciously attacked him.
Cody Rhodes will team up with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to battle The Bloodline in a six-man tag team match at Money in the Bank 2024. However, WWE hasn't revealed which members of the heel faction will participate in the bout.
On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that The Bloodline will likely be represented by Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank. The wrestling journalist added that the company might add The Samoan Werewolf to the contest at the last minute.
"I was told it’s probably Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Solo [Sikoa], but they could easily put in Jacob Fatu at the last minute," said Meltzer.
WWE personality says Paul Heyman could be gone for a long time after The Bloodline's attack
As mentioned earlier, the legendary manager took a brutal beating from Sikoa and his stablemates on SmackDown. The Bloodline delivered a Triple Powerbomb to Paul Heyman, putting the latter through the announce desk. The Wiseman was later taken to the nearest hospital.
On this week's Monday Night RAW, Corey Graves provided an update on The Wiseman's situation. He said fans might not see the 58-year-old on TV for a very long time.
"Cole, I've got a bad feeling we're not going to see The Wiseman for a long, long time," Graves said.
The pro wrestling world has to wait and see whether Jacob Fatu makes his WWE in-ring debut at Money in the Bank on July 6 at Scotiabank Arena in Canada.
