Major WWE duo are now considered babyfaces - Reports
A popular WWE duo is reportedly now internally listed as babyfaces. The tag team recently returned to action after being out with injuries and battled for the World Tag Team Championship.
The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) recently returned to the ring after missing a substantial amount of time. Erik was out with a neck injury for over a year, but the duo returned in October and won a tournament to become the number one contenders for the World Tag Team Championship on WWE RAW.
Erik and Ivar battled for the titles on the November 25 edition of WWE RAW but were defeated by The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. According to a new report from PW Insider, The War Raiders are now listed as babyfaces internally by the company.
The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh captured the World Tag Team Championship in June thanks to outside interference from Liv Morgan. Balor and McDonagh have only defended the titles a few times since becoming champions earlier this year. Gunther is scheduled to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Balor at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.
Vince Russo comments on WWE's booking of The War Raiders
Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently discussed the company's booking of The War Raiders on RAW.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's Legion of RAW show last month, Russo stated that if he were booking the popular tag team, he would have focused more on explaining their gimmick to wrestling fans. The veteran added that the promotion never did that, and now it was too late.
"I don't know where we go from here. I don't know. I can't help you with that." Russo added, "This is not their fault. What I would have done from day one was I would have explained the Viking lifestyle. I would have explained how they live, why they're into it, [and] what's behind it. That's what I would have done from day one. They never ever did any of that. And now it's too late." [From 18:28 onwards]

Erik and Ivar are former RAW Tag Team Champions on the main roster. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for The War Raiders moving forward now that they are regarded as babyfaces on the red brand.
