Major WWE RAW star spotted in town ahead of SmackDown - Report
WWE SmackDown emanates tonight from Salt Lake City, Utah. And a major name from RAW seems to be in town, to appear on the blue brand, and continue an ongoing storyline.
'Big' Bronson Reed joined Solo Sikoa's WarGames team last week, thus completing the formation of their squad of five. The numbers game got the better of Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, and The Usos during an ambush on the latest edition of the blue brand. Per PWInsider, The Auszilla is in town to continue his storyline with The Bloodline. Whether the OTC's team gets their final member tonight bears watching.
As the build to Survivor Series: WarGames continues, Triple H & Co. are heavily relying on The Bloodline Saga to carry the blue brand. But still, there is a lot to look forward to even for fans of other notable stars from the Friday night show.
Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, and Blair Davenport will wrestle in a Triple Threat match tonight to advance in the Women's United States Championship Tournament after Bayley qualified last Friday. Another important segment announced is the face-to-face interaction between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens.
Based on what transpired last week, it is likely Triple H & Co. will follow up on United States Champion LA Knight facing perhaps his biggest test to date in the form of Shinsuke Nakamura. The Wayward Samurai returned with a vengeance last week, which marked his first on-screen appearance since getting drafted to SmackDown in April.
Will Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins meet in the ring on WWE SmackDown?
What fans seem to be buzzing most about is the fifth spot in The OG Bloodline's team at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray discussed one possibility in which Seth Rollins joins Roman Reigns despite his animosity towards his former Shield brother. On Busted Open Radio, Ray felt that if the OTC stepped down from his throne and asked The Visionary himself, the pieces could fall into place.
"Everybody has approached Seth about Roman, except who?" Bully said. "What if we get that? Now I'm intrigued. [...] Who do we have begging him? Who do we have chasing him? We have Sami, we have Jimmy, we have Jey. [...] Roman and Seth have the history. And we haven't seen Roman and Seth talk. Maybe that's what we're going to get with the one 'Monday Night Raw' that's left, or the two 'SmackDown's' that are left. The Roman-Seth face to face." [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]
Seth Rollins has already rejected Solo Sikoa's offer, and now Sikoa has recruited Bronson Reed. The Bloodline helped Reed beat Rollins this past Monday. Now is The Visionary on his way to Salt Lake City, Utah, for Friday Night SmackDown tonight? We will find out shortly.
