Major WWE SmackDown update seemingly leaked - Reports
WWE is set to launch a new era for SmackDown tonight. The blue brand has moved back to the USA Network, and a loaded show has been announced. A major change has seemingly been leaked from within the company, and it's sure to shock many fans.
SmackDown wrapped up its five-year run on FOX last Friday, and now they are returning to the USA Network for the first time since 2019. WWE has booked a big episode to air live tonight from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. There are sure to be several upgrades and swerves. A new logo for the SmackDown brand was rumored for some time, and last week an updated logo was seen on the website of the network.
Despite last week's update, a new report from WrestleVotes has revealed a look at what is said to be the official new logo for SmackDown. It's possible the aforementioned updated logo will be used moving forward with tonight's launch, and that the leaked logo below will be used later this year to coincide with other planned changes.
"Attached is potentially the new SmackDown logo, which was sent over anonymously and not denied by another source within the company. It’s unclear whether the logo will debut tonight or sometime in the fall/winter, amidst other changes coming to WWE TV," wrote WrestleVotes.
You can check out the graphics of the logo in the post below:
Tonight's live SmackDown will be headlined by Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, defending against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match. Officials have also announced the Best of Five Finale for Andrade and Carmelo Hayes, plus A-Town Down Under vs. Kevin Owens and a mystery partner.
