Massive speculation on Roman Reigns possibly joining forces with WWE legend with whom he allegedly had real-life heat

Paul Heyman's ongoing situation could force Roman Reigns to join forces with his real-life rival and WWE legend CM Punk.

The Wiseman landed himself in hot water with the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline when he was asked to pledge his allegiance to The Enforcer and acknowledge him as the new Tribal Chief. As expected, Heyman refused to turn his back on Reigns, which resulted in The Bloodline taking out the WWE Hall of Famer.

Before his ouster, WWE booked CM Punk into an angle with Paul Heyman and The Bloodline on SmackDown. The segment saw Heyman and Punk embrace and tease a reunion. The Wiseman asked The Second City Saint to take him back.

During the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer speculated that the company could pair Roman Reigns and CM Punk together in the future:

"They’ve also done a tease that Punk could join with Reigns because they’ve pushed the connection with Heyman. This stuff feels like it has an exceptionally bright future."

Reigns and Punk reportedly don't get along too well, but both stalwarts are willing to put their differences aside for the sake of business.

However, The Straight Edge Superstar is currently embroiled in a rivalry with Drew McIntyre. As for Roman Reigns, he is expected to be back in time for SummerSlam to ignite a feud with the self-claimed Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa.
