Massive update on Seth Rollins amid WWE absence - Reports
Seth Rollins has been away from WWE but chatter surrounding what lay ahead for him has been dominating the wrestling world. Now, a new report has shed light on The Messiah potentially being the subject of a new WWE documentary next year.
Rollins hasn't wrestled since Money in the Bank 2024, where he failed to capture the World Heavyweight Title in a Triple-Threat match against then-champion Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre. He later officiated the SummerSlam match between CM Punk and McIntyre. Seth Rollins was officially pulled out from WWE's programming on the RAW following SummerSlam after Bronson Reed brutalized him.
Though the nature of his injury is unknown, it has kept him away from action for close to four months now. Now, Xero News has shared an update on Rollins that is sure to please his legion of fans. Though there was no mention of his return, it was noted that WWE was planning a documentary on his career for next year.
Furthermore, it was also reported that the documentary would revolve around The Messiah's first world title reign in WWE back in 2015.
Bronson Reed was supposed to face Seth Rollins at WWE Elimination Chamber 2024
A few days back in an interview, Bronson Reed disclosed how he was supposed to challenge Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title in his home country of Australia at Elimination Chamber 2024. However, Reed explained that the match was canceled due to Rollins' injury, which forced WWE to pull him from the show.
"The people that make the matches had told me I was facing Seth Rollins in Australia, which is dream stuff. Unfortunately, Seth got injured and I never forgot that."
Considering just how brutally Reed took out Rollins on the August 5 edition of WWE RAW, there's no doubt the latter would return with vengeance on his mind. For now, Bronson Reed is focused on Braun Strowman, whom he faces in a Last Monster Standing Match at next week's edition of the Monday Night Show.
