Massive WWE heel could turn babyface after recent loss - Reports

A major WWE Superstar could undergo a character change following a recent loss. The star in question is Bron Breakker, who could soon turn babyface, per a recent report.

The 26-year-old has been booked like a top-tier superstar since making his main roster debut. After failing against Sami Zayn in his first attempt, the second-generation superstar defeated the former Bloodline member to win the Intercontinental Championship. However, his title reign came to an end after just 51 days, with another former Bloodline member, Jey Uso, dethroning him.

While some fans questioned Triple H and Co.'s decision to end Bron Breakker's reign so quickly, it seems like the creative team has different plans in mind for the former Kennesaw State Owls footballer.

Dave Meltzer recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the 26-year-old could turn babyface following the recent setback.

Breakker debuted on the main roster as a heel and took the red brand by storm. He was a tweener during his final days on NXT when he used to team up with Baron Corbin.

Veteran is not worried about Bron Breakker's future in WWE

Bron Breakker has rapidly ascended the ladders in the global sports entertainment juggernaut after kickstarting his pro wrestling journey just a few years ago. The 26-year-old is already a two-time NXT Champion in his three years with the company, along with an Intercontinental Title and NXT Tag Team Championship in his kitty.

While some questions were raised over the second-generation superstar losing the IC Title in just 51 days, wrestling veteran Tommy Dreamer stated that he sees a bright future for the star in the company.

"I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'll 100% lay money on the line that Bron Breakker will be a world champion before his career is done in the WWE. Maybe several times. I do think he's a main-eventer for WWE. By saying main-eventer means main event WrestleMania," Dreamer said.

Bron Breakker just had one televised title defense during his reign as the Intercontinental Champion. He won the gold at SummerSlam where he defeated Sami Zayn after coming up short against the former Honorary Uce of The Bloodline at Money in the Bank.
