New details on lawsuit against Linda & Vince McMahon  - Reports

Vince McMahon has been embroiled in yet another controversy, and Linda McMahon's name also appeared in the fresh lawsuit. A new report shed light on some key details, which have seemingly cleared some doubts.

The '70s to the '90s were filled with backstage controversy as the wrestling landscape was starkly different from present times. A fresh lawsuit was filed against Vince McMahon, WWE, including its parent company, and Linda McMahon for alleged child abuse against five former ring boys, whose names have thus far been withheld.

The main accused in question was the late Melvin Phillips Jr., who was the ring crew chief in the Stamford-based promotion at the time. The allegations against The McMahons are severe. It claimed they were aware of the misconduct and ignored it for decades as young lives paid its price.

Sportskeeda Wrestling's Dr. Chris Featherstone provided an exclusive from the plaintiffs' lead representative, Greg Gutzler. In a series of tweets, he explained what the plaintiffs were seeking in the lawsuit, and that they did not want the company to repeat such heinous actions or be a part of it in any form.

Linda McMahon was featured in Vince McMahon's documentary

Linda McMahon was once a prominent figure in the Stamford-based promotion and appeared on weekly television. Appearing as The Boss' wife, Linda was involved in storylines and segments primarily during the Attitude Era.

She has undoubtedly played a crucial role in Vince McMahon's life before and after the Attitude Era as well. In the new Netflix docuseries titled, Mr.McMahon, Linda discussed a few topics on camera.

The 76-year-old personality touched upon the former CEO's life inside and outside the square circle. She eventually left the Stamford-based company and joined politics in the coming years.

Now she is embroiled in the freshly filed lawsuit along with a few names. Coincidentally, Linda and Vince addressed the 'Ring Boys' issue in the docuseries, and similar names did appear there as well.
