Paul Heyman's WWE status disclosed following The Rock and Jimmy Uso's return at Bad Blood [Reports]

With The Rock and Jimmy Uso back in The Bloodline's story, fans have been wondering about Paul Heyman's whereabouts. A backstage update on The Wiseman's current WWE status has been disclosed.

The Bad Blood Premium Live Event was the night of returns as fans witnessed two real-life Bloodline members making their respective comebacks on the same night.

Jimmy Uso played a significant role in changing the outcome of the main event. He crawled out from under the ring to help Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes beat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. In the aftermath, The Bloodline launched a sneak attack on The American Nightmare, forcing Reigns and Jimmy to come to his aid.

The show ended with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson coming out to have a staredown with all three babyfaces in the ring.

Earlier today, PWInsider learned that Paul Heyman was present backstage at Bad Blood and is still heavily involved with Roman Reigns' storylines. As of this writing, there's still no update on when or if The Wiseman will return to WWE.

However, there were rumors that Heyman would align himself with The Final Boss down the road. The Bloodline storyline has been full of twists and turns over the years. The idea of Paul Heyman betraying Roman Reigns could be the biggest swerve of this program.

Paul Heyman's potential turn isn't the only Bloodline betrayal planned for the next few months

Xero News recently noted that Jacob Fatu is expected to betray Solo Sikoa, whom he considers his Tribal Chief.

If that happens, fans could see the OG Bloodline getting back on the same page to face the new Bloodline headed by The Rock. This year's Survivor Series: WarGames could play host to another Bloodline civil war.

Whether or not Jey Uso will be intertwined back into the storyline remains to be seen.
