Potential plans for 330-lb WWE Star on Monday Night RAW - Reports

WWE is setting up storylines for several stars on both brands on the main roster. Meanwhile, the stars of tomorrow in NXT are gearing up for No Mercy in Bakersfield, California. According to a new report, the promotion has plans for a match between Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman.

Last year, Bronson Reed returned to WWE and joined the red brand as one of Triple H's biggest rehires. The 330lb star is heavily protected on the main roster, and fans are amazed by his feat of strength mixed with the quickness. However, it looks like Reed has no plans or feuds on the brand.

According to a new report from Xero News, the promotion always had a plan in mind for Bronson Reed. However, Braun Strownman's injury has kept those potential plans on hold. Therefore, the company has booked Reed strong over the past few months for the eventual showdown against Strowman.

"Braun Strowman vs. Bronson Reed is certainly still under discussion by WWE for when Braun returns, they want to keep Bronson strong until he shows up. Battle of the big men," tweeted Xero News.

Currently, there is no update on when Braun Strowman will return to in-ring competition after recovering from his injury. The match between the two will likely happen around next year.

Bronson Reed recently defeated the former champion on WWE RAW

Earlier this year, Bronson Reed's undefeated streak on WWE's main roster ended when he faced Shinsuke Nakamura. Apart from two losses to Nakamura and one to Tommaso Ciampa, Reed has remained strong on the red brand.

The Colossal has dominated the red brand and often impressed the fans with his feat of strength inside the ring. Moreover, Tsunami has always ended opponents in the ring for a three count.

Last week, Bronson Reed faced Alpha Academy's Chad Gable after he lost to Gunther. In the end, Reed defeated the former RAW Tag Team Champion after Gable vowed to go after the Intercontinental Champion.

On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Gable was nowhere to be seen, but Reed went head-to-head against Otis of the Alpha Academy. In the battle of big men, The Colossal defeated Otis after he hit him with a Tsunami.
