Potential reason behind major WWE botch on RAW revealed - Reports
Monday's WWE RAW was another action-packed show of the new era. In addition to King and Queen of the Ring fallout, RAW saw new rivalries progress on the road to Clash at the Castle. There was also one major mishap, and new details have just been revealed on exactly what happened.
RAW was headlined by Women's World Champion Liv Morgan retaining over Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage. Braun Strowman defeated JD McDonagh earlier in the show but was then beaten down by McDonagh, Finn Balor, and Carlito. The Monster spent the rest of the show chasing JD around.
During the main event, Dominik Mysterio came down and opened the cage door but Strowman ran over and inadvertently sent the door into Lynch, which allowed Morgan to escape and win.
The Queen of Extreme then approached Dirty Dom but the USA Network feed cut off. Morgan kissed Mysterio, who acted like he was shocked and almost uninterested, but the moment only aired on the international RAW feed, and then all social media platforms.
WWE production was trying to keep its cameras on Mysterio and Morgan and hoped to get the kiss, according to Fightful Select. However, they missed the kiss by just a few seconds, and word from within the company is that this was a timing issue and positioning miscommunication.
The kiss between Liv and Dominik has been a hot topic of discussion among fans since RAW went off the air. WWE replaced a major Cody Rhodes moment with a photo of the kiss.
Next week's WWE RAW lineup
World Wrestling Entertainment will return to the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, for next Monday's live RAW on the USA Network.
The feud between The Judgment Day and The LWO will continue next week as World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest faces Rey Mysterio in a non-title match.
