Tonight's WWE NXT episode will feature fallout from Sunday's Heatwave Premium Live Event. The developmental brand is set to continue the momentum into The Great American Bash. Word now from backstage is that a major star is booked for tonight.

Joe Hendry's popularity has grown in a massive way thanks to his NXT exposure. The TNA star made his NXT TV debut after fans rallied on social media, and Sunday's Heatwave ended with a special surprise glimpse. Recent reports noted that Hendry is set to be used "heavily" in the ongoing crossover between the two promotions and that officials are focusing on his ability to go viral with just small teases.

The Global Hero was featured on the NXT commercial during WWE RAW this week, and officials remain high on him. Fightful Select now reports that the Scottish star is booked for tonight's live NXT TV taping. Hendry was at rehearsals earlier today, and there is talk of him wrestling a match, perhaps in the main event.

In addition to Heatwave fallout, the following has been announced for tonight's WWE NXT episode: Sol Ruca vs. Fallon Henley, The O.C. vs. O.T.M., Karmen Petrovic vs. Arianna Grace, Gallus vs. Tyson DuPont and Tyriek Igwe, plus Heritage Cup Champion Tony D'Angelo defending against Lexis King.
