Potential spoiler on major WWE star appearing on RAW - Reports
A major WWE Superstar is reportedly backstage for tonight's episode of RAW. The star in question has not been advertised for this week's show.
Drew McIntyre was not present at last week's edition of the red brand, and CM Punk sent him a warning. Punk vowed to make McIntyre bleed in their upcoming Hell in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood next month.
CM Punk is not advertised to appear on tonight's show, but according to a new report from BodySlam.net, The Second City Saint is backstage for tonight's RAW at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.
The rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre has been going on since the Men's Royal Rumble match in January. Punk suffered a torn triceps during the match and did not return until SummerSlam last month. McIntyre defeated the 45-year-old in a singles match at SummerSlam but lost to his rival in a Strap Match last month at Bash in Berlin.
Vince Russo claims CM Punk's promo on WWE RAW was pointless
Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on CM Punk's message to Drew McIntyre last Monday night on RAW.
Speaking on the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo wondered what the point of Punk's promo was last week on the red brand. The legend suggested that fans did not learn anything new during the segment, and the rivalry had been going on for too long.
"After all that's been going on with these two, like what is that promo supposed to do that hasn't already been done? That's what I talk about bro, prolonging and prolonging. Why are we in a different place this week than we were in last week." [6:42 onwards]

Punk cost Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL and ruined his Money in the Bank cash-in attempt earlier this year as well. It will be interesting to see if Punk appears during tonight's WWE RAW and confronts Drew McIntyre ahead of their Hell in a Cell match on October 5.
