Potential spoiler for Randy Orton vs. Gunther II at WWE Bash in BerlinĀ
The early betting odds for Gunther vs. Randy Orton II at Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event have been released. Those hoping for a title change shouldn't get their hopes up.
The Ring General finally fulfilled his prophecy at SummerSlam last weekend when he dethroned Damian Priest to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career.
On the SummerSlam fallout episode of RAW, a returning Randy Orton rained on Gunther's parade and claimed his rematch at Bash in Berlin on August 31. The two men last faced each other in the final of the King of the Ring Tournament, which saw a controversial finish.
The Ring General was declared the winner despite The Viper's shoulders not being fully pinned down on the mat. Triple H didn't overrule the match finish but wanted Orton to have another shot at Gunther.
The main event for Bash in Berlin is all set and fans have been wondering whether The Legend Killer will even the odds with the Austrian star and become a 15-time world champion.
According to BetOnline.ag, Gunther has a 96.8% chance of successfully retaining his title over Orton in Germany.
Bully Ray unhappy with Randy Orton's WWE RAW return
The Viper was drafted to SmackDown during the WWE Draft earlier this year, hence fans were a little surprised to see him on Monday Night RAW this past week.
Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray criticized WWE for breaking the rule. He was not pleased with a SmackDown star showing up at RAW, despite the apparent clear lines drawn between the red and blue brands.
"Everything you said was legitimate as far as what has happened in the past, but I still don't know how [Randy] Orton was just allowed to show up on RAW without it being because, and once again they [WWE] are not sticking to the Draft," said Ray.
The WWE Hall of Famer also believes Gunther should go over Randy Orton and win clean at Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event later this month.
