Potential spoiler on World Heavyweight Championship tournament matches planned for WWE RAW
The landscape of WWE changed when Triple H announced the return of the World Heavyweight Championship with a new belt design for the modern era in the company. According to a recent report, participants for the triple threat matches have been revealed for Monday Night RAW.
Last month, Triple H announced the return of the World Heavyweight Championship due to the company not having two world champions, which had started to affect the weekly shows. He later assigned the new belt to Monday Night RAW after Roman Reigns was drafted to Friday Night SmackDown.
During the Backlash weekend, Triple H announced a new tournament for the title and revealed several superstars from both brands. According to a new report from Xero News, possible spoilers on which stars will face each other in the upcoming Triple Threat matches on Monday Night RAW:
"Cody vs Balor vs Miz and Seth vs Priest vs Nakamura"
It will be interesting to see which stars from RAW and SmackDown qualify to face each other for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
Damian Priest wants to make history in WWE with the new World Heavyweight Championship
Damian Priest was one of the founding members of The Judgment Day on Monday Night RAW after he aligned with Edge at WrestleMania 38. The group also added Rhea Ripley into the mix before kicking the Rated R Superstar out of the stable after the arrival of Finn Balor.
The Punishment of The Judgment Day has been on the back burner for a while as Balor, Mysterio, and Ripley had their respective matches at WrestleMania 39. Ahead of his Street Fight against Bad Bunny, the 40-year-old star spoke about the new World Heavyweight Championship and how he aims to make history with it:
"It's a beautiful title, right? It would look even more amazing around my waist. First Puerto Rican World Heavyweight Championship, sounds good to me."
Preist not only wants to win the new title but is looking forward to becoming the first Puerto Rican to win the gold in WWE. Last year, the Archer of Infamy held the United States Championship before losing it to Finn Balor.
