Potential update on Randy Orton's WWE return ahead of RAW
Randy Orton's WWE return appears to be inching closer as the teases continue from Rev Theory, the group known for voicing his iconic entrance theme.
The former 14-time WWE Champion hasn't been seen in a wrestling ring since May 2022. After dropping his RAW Tag Team titles alongside Matt Riddle, The Viper underwent back surgery and has spent much of his absence rehabbing his injury.
Rev Theory has been teasing his return for several weeks, but the update today ahead of RAW made it clear that The Viper could now return at any time.
"The Return of the Legend Killer is imminent," the tweet claimed.
Recent rumors have suggested that Randy Orton could be set to make his return around Survivor Series or even on the show itself.
This would mark his first appearance in almost 18 months since Orton has remained out of the public eye throughout his injury, only being spotted a handful of times.
Randy Orton's WWE return storyline is unknown
It's unclear where or how Randy Orton will return at the moment. Since the star wasn't drafted in the most recent WWE Draft, he is considered a free agent; this means that he could return on RAW or SmackDown.
Since Orton has some issues to iron out with The Bloodline, he could return on SmackDown and push for a title shot at The Royal Rumble, or he could return on RAW and exact some revenge on Jey Uso.
Matt Riddle's WWE release has left a lot of confusion surrounding his return at the moment, but the fact that the reports are now heating up and Rev Theory are sending out cryptic messages means that it can't be long.
