Real-life Bloodline member officially joins WWE NXT - Reports

When the Original Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, recruited Solo Sikoa into The Bloodline during the main event of Clash at the Castle 2022, he probably did not anticipate well into the future. The group started as a Samoan faction, but The Street Champ's rule, which commenced in April 2024, has brought significant change to it, with the addition of Tongans.

Tama Tonga was the first to join the Sikoa-led Bloodline, and Tonga Loa followed. WWE appears to have an eye on yet another Tongan — Hikuleo.

Per PWInsider, Hikuleo, real name Tautuiaki Taula Koloamatangi, has been added to the NXT roster internally. News about his official signing was already disclosed. He was previously a member of NJPW's Bullet Club and Guerrillas of Destiny, the latter consisted of his brothers Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Hikuleo's possible addition to The Bloodline on SmackDown bears watching.

The Bloodline Saga, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are the WWE Tag Team Champions on SmackDown

Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga originally won the WWE Tag Team Championship many weeks ago. However, Solo Sikoa demanded The Samoan Werewolf to relinquish the belt as he wants the latter to always be on call as his Enforcer, a role he previously had donned when Roman Reigns was the "Head of the Table."

This decision in turn led to Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa becoming the WWE Tag Team Champions by default. The two remain at the top of SmackDown's tag team division, with several major names after them. This includes the Street Profits and #DIY, among others.

The Bloodline began their reign of terror, as some would call it, in 2020, when Roman Reigns returned and changed his approach towards the business. The Original Tribal Chief, however, was not the first Samoan to rise up the ranks as one of the biggest names in the industry. Arguably, that credit goes to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The Rock vs. Roman Reigns is a match that is just waiting to happen, and WWE knows this. Hall of Famers Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer recently agreed that The Final Boss is perhaps the only one who can dethrone Cody Rhodes, ergo kicking off the bigger story of the Samoans.
