Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest being kicked out of the Judgment Day has seen an emotional backstage reaction - Reports
Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest have found themselves on the outside despite being the only two original members of the Judgment Day left in WWE at this time. The breakup that took place at SummerSlam has left the faction in an all-new version, and the backstage reaction to the moment has now been released.
Damian Priest found himself betrayed at SummerSlam. He was almost getting the win over Gunther to retain his World Heavyweight title, but it was not to be. He was betrayed by Finn Balor, whose involvement and distraction was enough for The Ring General to pick up the win. The same happened earlier in the night to Rhea Ripley, where Dominik Mysterio betrayed her to join Liv Morgan, breaking her heart and making sure she didn't win back her world title.
According to a report by WRKD Wrestling, The Judgment Day members were very sentimental backstage before their group finally broke up at SummerSlam. They were sad that their group was coming to an end.
They also reportedly garnered a lot of praise from WWE management overall for the successful breakup and how it worked on The Biggest Party of the Summer leading to several big stories.
"Members of The Judgement Day were sentimental and emotional backstage ahead of the group’s splintering this past week. The faction were also praised by WWE management for the successful big payoffs to their SummerSlam angles."
Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest now have a big feud with the Judgment Day
Thanks to Liv Morgan now joining The Judgment Day, Ripley and Damian Priest both have bones to pick with their former group.
While Priest now wants revenge against Finn Balor for costing him the title, Rhea Ripley wants to take out both Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio for the way she was betrayed.
The two stars already supported each other at WWE RAW this week as they started off their feud.
