Roman Reigns' potential WrestleMania 41 opponent revealed - Reports
Roman Reigns is arguably one of the most popular WWE Superstars ever. The OTC has main-evented many premium live events, including WrestleMania. He has headlined The Show of Shows nine times. A recent report suggests that in possibly the biggest attraction of WrestleMania 41, the former Shield member could wrestle CM Punk in a highly anticipated match.
After main eventing both nights of WrestleMania 40, there has been a lot of speculation about the former Undisputed Universal Champion's potential opponent for the 2025 edition of The Showcase of Immortals. While Reigns is currently feuding with Solo Sikoa and his men, several fans expect The Rock's involvement in The Bloodline Saga, leading to a clash between The Head of the Table and The Final Boss on the Grandest Stage of Them All. However, others expect the 39-year-old to go after Cody Rhodes and complete their trilogy.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, WWE has been discussing having Roman Reigns lock horns with CM Punk at WrestleMania 41. It was reported that the wrestling promotion initially had different plans for the two performers before making the changes several weeks ago. However, the report further noted that the entire card, including the potential Reigns vs. Punk, could change if The Rock informs WWE of his involvement in 'Mania.
Roman Reigns is set for a high-stakes match on the RAW Netflix Premiere
Monday Night RAW is set to make its Netflix debut on January 6. The red brand's show will feature most of the big names and some highly anticipated matches. SmackDown Superstar Roman Reigns will also compete at the show.
On last week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown, The OTC challenged his former stablemate Solo Sikoa to a Tribal Combat Match. The former Enforcer of The Bloodline accepted the challenge. The match was later made official for RAW's Netflix debut.
Before their upcoming contest, the two have recently wrestled against each other in tag team matches. Solo Sikoa pinned Roman Reigns in the Six-Man Tag Team Match at Crown Jewel, but The OTC got the pin at Survivor Series: WarGames. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top when they compete for the Ula Fala in a couple of weeks.
