Roman Reigns had to take steps before his WWE return - Reports
Roman Reigns returned at WWE SummerSlam yesterday and has naturally been the topic of discussion since then. The star appeared at the show and changed the outcome of the WWE Championship match.
After suddenly returning at WWE SummerSlam, he didn't help Solo Sikoa as many thought he would. Reigns, clearly incensed at Sikoa's coup with the Bloodline, decided to take things into his own hands and hit him with the Superman Punch and the Spear, destroying him and making it easy for Rhodes to get the win.
Fans are waiting to see what he does next and will be tuning in to SmackDown, hoping to see what's next for the Original Tribal Chief.
Fightful Select has now reported on the details of his return. As it turns out, Roman Reigns' return was naturally planned, but not too many people were made aware of it. WWE kept the return as a whole under wraps.
Reigns and the company took steps to ensure that it remained under wraps until it was finally time for him to make his appearance in the main event. The star is expected by fans to start a feud with Sikoa and his new Bloodline, but whether Cody Rhodes will also be involved is uncertain.
Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa may be the big feud heading into Survivor Series
Fans have been waiting to see the New Bloodline clash with Roman Reigns after his return to the company.
The perfect setup may have been ready from the moment that Sikoa started to introduce his new members to the group. It's expected that the new group may face off against Reigns and his own set of allies, including former Bloodline members like the Usos, at Survivor Series in a WarGames match.
Heading into it, though, Reigns may have his work cut out for him, as he is not on the best terms with too many stars, including his own family member, Jey Uso. The coming weeks and months will determine what sort of story WWE tells.
