Several major names reportedly backstage ahead of WWE SmackDown

The 2024 WWE Draft will kick off in less than an hour when SmackDown goes on the air. There has been lots of rumor and speculation on potential surprises for tonight, and new details have just been revealed on top stars possibly appearing.

It was recently reported that WWE had plans for several RAW stars to be at SmackDown, while the blue brand's stars would be on the red brand on Monday. A new report from PWInsider notes that a lot of RAW talents and Hall of Famers are backstage at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati for tonight's show.

Sources confirmed that Jey Uso, Chad Gable, The Judgment Day, Tegan Nox, The Miz, and Bronson Reed are all backstage. A few talents who have been absent are also at the show, including Nikki Cross and Dexter Lumis.

Sheamus is also backstage at SmackDown and the Draft, according to PWInsider. The Celtic Warrior is still on the blue brand's roster, but he has only wrestled on RAW since returning from his lengthy hiatus earlier this month.

WWE recently announced that champions, except the Women's Tag Team Champions, will not be eligible to be picked for the Draft. World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest and Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn are also present tonight.

Several RAW tag team stars are also at SmackDown, including The Creed Brothers, The New Day, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter. Piper Niven is also there, but there's no word yet on Chelsea Green's status.

WWE also brought several Hall of Famers to the Draft, including JBL, Michelle McCool, Alundra Blayze, Teddy Long, and Torrie Wilson. There may be additional legends appearing tonight, but these five names have been reported so far.
