Shocking betrayal reportedly planned within The Bloodline after The Rock's WWE return

The Rock ended the WWE Bad Blood Premium Live Event on a massive cliffhanger. In the wake of his return, an update on potential plans for The Bloodline has come to the fore and it's not promising.

In the main event of Bad Blood, Roman Reigns teamed up with his arch-nemesis and the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, to beat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a match filled with chaos outside the ring.

As expected, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa tried to interfere during the match, but a returning Jimmy Uso took them out to help the babyfaces pick up the win. Jimmy and Roman hugged each other in a heartwarming moment after the match. As the two cousins were leaving the arena, the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline attacked a worn-out Cody Rhodes.

Though The Original Tribal Chief hesitated to help Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Uso eventually talked him into it, prompting the two men to fend off the new Bloodline.

Reigns and Rhodes would then give fans a potential teaser about their impending trilogy. However, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson returned to rain on their parade and gave a throat-slash gesture before walking off.

The Final Boss' return has once again shaken things up within The Bloodline storyline. Xero News recently noted that Jacob Fatu is slated to turn his back on his Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa, later this year.

Triple H reacts to The Rock's WWE return

During the post-Bad Blood media scrum, Triple H addressed the return of Dwayne Johnson and Jimmy Uso at Bad Blood.

WWE's head of creative called The Final Boss the biggest superstar in the world, who can blow the roof off the place without uttering a single word.

"I thought it's amazing, the return of Jimmy Uso, and then The Rock showing up. You have to be the biggest superstar in the world to be able to hit your music, walk out, blow the roof off the place, and I am out. It's epic," said Triple H.

Hunter also expressed his gratitude towards The Rock for taking time out of his busy schedule to come back to WWE.

"I'm thankful to him. With everything he has got going on in his career and his life, he has never looked away from what brought him to the dance and what his roots are. It's in his DNA, it is in his blood, it is who he is. Anytime we are at a place where he can take that 30 seconds from his incredible schedule to come back and feel that electricity that you can only get in WWE, he does it. I am thrilled for it and thankful for him."

Is The Rock coming for Cody Rhodes and his Undisputed WWE Championship? Or is he going to ignite a much-awaited rivalry with his cousin Roman Reigns? Bad Blood left us with a lot of unanswered questions hanging in the air.

It will be interesting to see what Triple H has in store for The Bloodline storyline next.
