Solo Sikoa could be removed from SmackDown soon; WWE planning massive changes - Reports
A new report has highlighted details of WWE's shocking plans for The Bloodline as 2025 approaches. If the rumors are to be believed, Sikoa and The Bloodline could soon be removed from SmackDown and sent to RAW as the next year inches close.
A few days back, it was reported that Netflix, which will become the home to RAW from January, was keen on having several big names, including Roman Reigns, on the red brand. Considering Reigns is amidst arguably the most important chapter in The Bloodline saga, this update surprised fans.
Insider account Xero News has now shed more light on what WWE could be planning. A recent tweet noted that not just Roman Reigns, but all of Bloodline could be joining RAW. Furthermore, it was mentioned that Solo Sikoa, who is the center of WWE SmackDown's new poster, could soon be replaced on it.
WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi wants Solo Sikoa to dethrone Cody Rhodes
On a recent edition of his Fatu off the Top podcast, Rikishi discussed Solo Sikoa securing a pinfall over Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel 2024 a few days back.
The WWE legend believes that considering Sikoa had so much momentum behind him after pinning a name of Reigns' stature, he could be the right person to end Cody Rhodes' run with the WWE Championship:
"Solo's a made man. You know, for that to happen, there's definitely we see plans within this kid that, you know, what can be the next level for him? You know, we talked about does he need a belt. Well, after this one, two, three on Roman, I almost kinda, you know, I can see maybe Solo be the one to take it off of Cody. Cuz I talked about maybe Roman will come back and take it off of Cody, you know, but after seeing that, you beat the GOAT. You beat the GOAT and I believe it was two spikes, two or three, whatever it was, right? But, you know, now, it's like, 'Okay, you beat the GOAT, now you're considered the GOAT,'" he said.
Sikoa had earlier challenged Cody Rhodes for the Universal Title at SummerSlam 2024. Though he failed to capture the gold at the show, thanks in part to Roman Reigns' interference, it solidified his position as a main eventer.
