Top Bloodline member to return at the 2025 Royal Rumble; unfortunate news for Roman Reigns - Reports
WWE legend The Rock shocked the world with his blockbuster return during the closing moments of the Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event. Although The Great One did not say a word when he stood on the entrance ramp, he had an intense staredown with Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso. Before exiting, The Final Boss counted to three with his fingers and made a slit-throat gesture.
Following his return, fans are eagerly waiting to see The Rock back on WWE programming again. A recent report suggested that The Brahma Bull won’t be back until January 2025.
Recently, 4YouWrestling reported regarding The Rock's comeback. They posted a Royal Rumble countdown and The Final Boss' GIF side by side. This hinted that the 52-year-old star will potentially return at the 2025 Royal Rumble and might also participate in the Men's Royal Rumble Match.
Additionally, a fan dropped a comment under the report and asked if Roman Reigns is winning a championship anytime soon. In response, 4YouWrestling said "No," reporting that The Original Tribal Chief is not expected to win gold soon.
Triple H claims professional wrestling is in The Rock's DNA after his return at WWE Bad Blood 2024
Following The Rock's shocking return at Bad Blood 2024, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H praised The Final Boss during the post-show press conference. The Game said that the professional wrestling business was in The Great One's DNA.
"The Rock showing up. You have to be the biggest superstar in the world to be able to hit your music, walk out, blow the roof off the place, and I am out. It's epic. I'm thankful to him. With everything he has got going on in his career and his life, he has never looked away from what brought him to the dance and what his roots are," Triple H said.
The Game went on:
"It's in his DNA, it is in his blood, it is who he is. Anytime we are at a place where he can take that 30 seconds from his incredible schedule to come back and feel that electricity that you can only get in WWE, he does it. I am thrilled for it and thankful for him."
It will be intriguing to see what the Stamford-based promotion has in store for The Final Boss once he returns.
