Triple H and WWE reportedly have plans for SmackDown star after Night of Champions
It has been reported that despite the recent lack of opportunities, Triple H and WWE Creative still have plans for Tegan Nox.
The Welsh performer returned to the company in December 2022 after being released from World Wrestling Entertainment just a year earlier. Since her return, however, she has yet to be featured in a prominent storyline.
With her not having wrestled a televised match since March 17, 2023, BoozerRasslin, via Ringside News, reported earlier today that future creative plans for Nox will take place "after NOC" (Night of Champions).
Since The Game took over as head of creative last year, Tegan Nox was one of many formerly released stars who returned to the company, along with other names like Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, and Bray Wyatt.
Triple H is a big fan of a current WWE Superstar
One person who has been booked in a prominent spot for the majority of his time in the company is Butch (a.k.a. Pete Dunne).
Speaking on the TouchGrass Wrestling podcast, Butch's former tag team partner Trent Seven recapped a time when he saw Hunter and Shawn Michaels gushing over the British star's performance in the ring.
"He [is] just a bada**, and Triple H sees it. My God, they're like, it's pathetic. It's like sometimes like you can't not be jealous of it. He [Triple H] loves him. I remember sitting at Gorilla [position] watching Triple H and like Shawn watching Pete Dunne, and they were marking like they were like, 'How is he this good? [whispering to each other]' And he is that good. That's the point," Seven said. [33:16 - 33:51] (H/T Sportskeeda)
After Butch's ring name was initially changed from Pete Dunne in April of last year, many fans were not on board. However, since his faction with Sheamus and Ridge Holland has begun to build momentum, many fully support the British star's unpredictable gimmick.
