Unfortunate update on Rhea Ripley's WWE future following injury - Reports

WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley suffered another injury this week and is set to be out of action for the foreseeable future. A new report has provided an update on the situation.

The former Judgment Day member was attacked by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on NXT last night. The heel duo left Ripley bloodied in an off-camera assault. Shortly after the attack, it was reported that Rhea had suffered a fractured right orbital socket and would be on the sidelines for a while.

While many initially believed that the injury was a 'work' to keep Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley apart, it was later noted that The Nightmare had suffered a legitimate injury and the assault on NXT was just a kayfabe reason to write her off WWE programming.

PWInsider also confirmed the aforementioned rumor, noting that the injury most likely happened during the headbutt spot on the October 21 edition of RAW when Rhea confronted Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. The news source added that the angle to take her out of action was a late addition to last night's NXT. It was also noted that Rhea has been taken off from this weekend's RAW taping.

Rhea Ripley sent a message to two WWE stars following another injury

Rhea Ripley has had a forgetful last few months. She first had to relinquish the Women's World Championship due to an injury and then lost Dominik Mysterio and her faction in addition to failing to win back the title on two occasions.

Things got worse for Ripley recently as she has now been sidelined due to another injury. However, The Eradicator is not the one to rest on her laurels. She sent a message to Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan after being left bloodied by the two on NXT.

Rhea Ripley has wrestled in just two matches on WWE weekly TV programming, with one of them taking place on January 1. The Nightmare is slated to be on the shelf for a while. Many expect Rhea to return around Royal Rumble and resume her feud with Liv Morgan.
