Unfortunate update on Tamina's WWE status - reportsĀ

Tamina Snuka hasn't wrestled a match for WWE in almost 18 months. Her last appearance came back at the Royal Rumble 2023 and she has since not been featured in any ongoing storylines.

It seems that there is finally an update on Tamina's status and it's not a positive one, as it appears that the former Women's Tag Team Champion has been removed from WWE's internal roster according to a report by PWNexus.

This means that Tamina isn't expected to be featured on World Wrestling Entertainment television anytime soon, which was hinted at when she wasn't used as part of the most recent annual Draft.

Tamina is the daughter of Hall of Famer, Jimmy Snuka and was pushed as a major threat in the women's division as part of the first few years of her WWE tenure. Back in 2010, she made her debut alongside The Usos and there have since been teases that she could be set to join The Bloodline, but no female member has been added to the group yet.

Nia Jax teased that Tamina's WWE career could be over

Nia Jax returned to the company at the Royal Rumble 2023 after initially being released by the promotion, to shock the world.

She revealed as part of an interview with Busted Open Radio, that she only made her return at the time because her cousin, Tamina had claimed to her that that this would be her last 'Rumble. It was more an emotional decision for her to return at the PLE more than anything else.

"It's funny because with the previous 'Rumble, I was not going to come back," Jax said. "I was asked to come back, and I was like, 'Absolutely not.' I wasn't there. But this last one, my cousin, Tamina and I talked about it and she said it might be her last one, and I was like, 'Well, frick, if that's going to be Tamina's last 'Rumble, I definitely want to be a part of it,' if they wanted me to be a part of it."

Interestingly, this seems to have been Tamina's last match given the most recent update.
