Update on Roman Reigns' status with WWE during hiatus - Reports

Roman Reigns is off of WWE television but a new report suggests he will still have input on a current storyline. Cody Rhodes defeated The Tribal Chief in the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania XL to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion.

According to WrestleVotes, Reigns will be creatively involved in The Bloodline's storyline during his hiatus from WWE television. WrestleVotes added that they have been told Roman Reigns will be off for an unknown amount of time, but will be heavily involved in the creative aspects of The Bloodline storyline moving forward.

Following Reigns' loss at WrestleMania, The Bloodline has already started to make changes. Solo Sikoa welcomed Tama Tonga to the group this past Monday night, and he unleashed a brutal attack on Jimmy Uso on RAW. Jimmy lost to his brother Jey Uso in a singles match at The Show of Shows last weekend.

Vince Russo claims WWE star has nothing to do after defeating Roman Reigns

Former WWE writer Vince Russo has taken the promotion to task for not having a plan in place for Cody Rhodes following his victory over Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL.

Speaking on this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, the veteran criticized The American Nightmare's promo on this past Monday's edition of the red brand. Russo stated that the company has nothing for Rhodes to do after he finally finished his story.

"He has nothing, bro. I swear to God, when he went out there tonight to cut the promo, he started cutting the same promo he cut on SmackDown. I'm watching this and I'm like I just heard this on SmackDown bro. So, we've literally got nothing for the world champion to do bro, nothing," he said. [From 14:45 onwards]
