WWE discussing “historic” new contract for Roman Reigns - Report

Roman Reigns has been the centerpiece of World Wrestling Entertainment for the better part of this decade. It is hard to fathom The Tribal Chief leaving the company at this point. However, his current contract is reportedly set to expire in 2025.

His ongoing storyline, popularly dubbed The Bloodline Saga, is considered to be the highlight of professional wrestling. The various chapters in it have been described as peak television. They are set to headline Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, at the Rogers Arena.

According to Slice Wrestling via Patreon, WWE is attempting to re-sign Roman Reigns to a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract. It will make Reigns the highest-paid WWE Superstar in history. His previous deal was sealed in August 2022, and it was said to be a multi-year deal. However, the length was not disclosed.

In the last few months, Roman Reigns went from being a designated heel on SmackDown to a fan-favorite. In order to bring down his cousin Solo Sikoa, who assumed power as the new Tribal Chief in The Island of Relevancy, Reigns returned in August as the OTC. He had been off television since WrestleMania XL in April, where his world title reign ended at 1,316 days.

Jey Uso has mended fences with Roman Reigns on WWE SmackDown

After lots of bickering and battering, Roman Reigns' cousin Jey Uso parted ways with The Bloodline in the summer of 2023. In the process, Uso also left his twin brother behind to find a new home on Monday Night RAW. Despite repeatedly sabotaging Main Event Jey's run on the red brand, Jimmy Uso approached his brother on RAW in October for a truce. By Crown Jewel on November 2, the OG Bloodline reunited to take on Solo Sikoa and his men.

An argument can be made that Jey Uso is the biggest star WWE has made with Reigns' involvement. He remains one of the most popular wrestlers among fans today. In an interview with Peter Rosenberg recently, Main Event Jey shared his honest thoughts on reforming The Usos:

"It was great, man. I was really happy to see my brother. [...] I've never been on the road alone. I always had like somebody in the car with me—my brothers, you know, driving, talking. It was a little lonely out there sometimes, Uce. But I'm just glad he's back, man. He's healthy," Jey said.

Since the OG Bloodline failed to defeat Solo Sikoa's team at Crown Jewel, Sami Zayn reunited with Roman Reigns and The Usos. They are looking for a fifth member to take on the new Bloodline and Bronson Reed at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30.
