WWE expecting major reunion following recent exit; Bobby Lashley plans reportedly not a shock
A new report has shed light on WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley's rumored exit from the company. Lashley's former Hurt Business teammate, MVP, is also reportedly leaving the Triple H-led promotion.
Lashley's first stint in World Wrestling Entertainment lasted from 2005 to 2008. After wrestling for other promotions, The All Mighty returned to the Stamford-based company in 2018 and eventually formed The Hurt Business alongside MVP. The stable also included Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. However, the group was disbanded in 2022, after which the 48-year-old formed The Pride.
The SmackDown stable, led by Lashley, consists of The Street Profits and B-Fab. However, the group's future seems uncertain, as The All Mighty's current contract is nearing its conclusion.
According to recent reports, Bobby Lashley and MVP are unlikely to re-sign with World Wrestling Entertainment. Moreover, the duo has also been removed from the Stamford-based promotion's internal roster.
The latest report by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio has shed light on the whole situation. According to Meltzer, WWE believes Bobby Lashley and MVP are gone from the company. The Triple H-led promotion also thinks that the duo may try to re-form The Hurt Business in AEW.
The report further mentioned that Lashley and MVP's WWE contracts were set to expire soon, so they will eventually depart from the Stamford-based promotion.
