WWE to incorporate a major change to The Judgment Day - Reports

The lineup for The Judgment Day in WWE changed drastically as Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were kicked out of the group. According to a recent report, the group's new iteration will receive a massive change.

Earlier this week, a report suggested the rebranding of The Judgment Day. However, it didn't sit well with the fans and the company has heard the concerns regarding the beloved faction. According to WrestleVotes, WWE won't be changing the faction's name following SummerSlam 2024.

However, Finn Balor's idea of using the term 'Street Trash' will be incorporated into the faction's gimmick going forward. The idea has been approved and some merchandising concepts have also been completed. The gimmick change is likely being done because the creative may want to distance the group from its previous incarnation featuring Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley.

"Source claims the name Judgment Day will remain, however the slogan “Street Trash” will be incorporated within the groups gimmick. The “Street Trash” idea came directly from Finn Balor, with merchandising concepts already completed and approved"

Two members of The New Judgment Day will compete at WWE Bash in Berlin

Earlier this year, one of WWE's biggest factions imploded in Cleaveland when Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor turned their backs on Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, respectively, at SummerSlam.

The turn was in the works for months as Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley became a duo and slowly drifted away from the villainous faction. The Terror Twins' rise and organic turn as a babyface was a driving factor behind the betrayal.

After the event in Ohio, Finn Balor revealed a new iteration of The Judgment Day and added Carlito and Liv Morgan to the mix. This didn't sit well with the original members as they're currently after the faction for revenge.

At the end of the month, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan will face The Terror Twins in a Mixed Tag Team Match in Germany at the WWE Bash in Berlin PLE.
