WWE interested in bringing in 27-year-old megastar for a PLE in 2025 - Reports (Exclusive)
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and others involved could be looking at bringing in a major name for a premium live event (PLE) in 2025. A new report suggests mutual interest.
On WrestleVotes Radio Exclusively on Backstage Pass, JoeyVotes and TC spoke a bit about Jake Paul, who added to his megastar status with a massive win against Mike Tyson. The bout, which took place in AT&T Stadium (the venue of WrestleMania 32 and 38) was viewed by a massive 60 million people live on Netflix.
With this virality in mind, and obviously the Logan Paul connection, it seems like a no-brainer that WWE is interested in having Jake Paul appear. JoeyVotes revealed that not only is WWE looking to bring in the megastar at some point for a PLE in 2025, but there's interest from his side as well.
A WWE Hall of Famer wants to see Jake Paul along with his brother at WrestleMania 41
It's no surprise that WWE wants to capture some of the momentum that both Jake and Logan Paul carry with them. While Logan is an established name who appears in all the big events, we only got a glimpse of Jake Paul in wrestling when he appeared at Crown Jewel in 2022.
On Something to Wrestle, JBL praised the Paul brothers and said it would be awesome to have Jake Paul at WrestleMania 41:
“I think it’d be awesome. I think it’d be awesome to have Jake Paul at WrestleMania, [and] to have Logan Paul at WrestleMania. Those two guys are amazing to me, absolutely amazing. They’ve done incredible things, and with their internet, with their YouTube that they’re doing. It’s a story that’s beyond belief. Those guys have gotten over, and they’re making hundreds of millions of dollars [in] career earnings because of the fact that they’ve gotten over," JBL said. [H/T: Fightful]
On the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Jake Paul stated that he would be more interested in being a manager for his brother than a wrestler.
