WWE could make historic decision for RAW in 2025 - Reports
WWE could make a historic decision regarding RAW next year. In January 2025, the red brand will be moving from the USA Network to Netflix.
The promotion recently announced an 11-city tour in the United Kingdom and Europe ahead of WWE WrestleMania 41 next year. During a Q&A on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp commented on the possibility of the promotion airing shows live during the 2025 tour.
Sapp noted that if he were Netflix, he would consider airing the shows live in the United States during the tour. He added that Netflix can easily make that happen if the company chooses to do so next year.
Tonight's edition of WWE RAW will air live from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are set to challenge Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for the Women's Tag Team Championship during tonight's show.
World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and Damian Priest are also scheduled to appear on tonight's RAW. Priest won a Fatal Four-Way Match last week to earn a title match against The Ring General.
Bill Apter predicts WWE RAW will respond to major announcement on SmackDown
Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently commented on SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis introducing the Women's United States Championship this past Friday night and suggested that RAW would have a response.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Apter suggested that the Women's Intercontinental Championship could be introduced on the red brand in the weeks ahead. He added that the introduction of the new titles could lead to some tension between Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce as well.
"I think if they do that, it'll be next year. I think it would be too much. Although you could have both General Managers saying, 'Oh no, my United States title is more important. My Intercontinental title is more important.' No, I think they are gonna wait a while before they do that." [From 33:55 to 34:18]
