WWE officials reportedly see Bloodline member as dangerous

The Bloodline has dominated WWE since forming in the summer of 2021. The legendary Anoa'i family first arrived 40 years before that. SmackDown's ongoing storyline is seemingly more intense as the factions heat up, and now there's interesting talk going around on how officials viewed a certain Bloodline member.

Jacob Fatu won championship gold just 43 days after his SmackDown debut. The former MLW World Heavyweight Champion has assisted Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa in beating down top superstars, and Paul Heyman. He and Tonga won the WWE Tag Team Championship from DIY on last Friday's SmackDown, and Fatu then tried to help Solo defeat Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam but may have suffered an injury in the process.

Plans were for The Samoan Werewolf to sell a leg injury from the big SummerSlam dive, but he still needed help while walking away, and was wearing a walking boot that night, and the following morning. An update from PWInsider noted how WWE officials remained high up on Fatu and were satisfied with his work.

Fatu brings 12 years of in-ring experience to the blue brand, but the company sees how he's much more valuable. The 32-year-old was described by a WWE source as bringing a real "element of danger" to the product.

The California native is the son of Sam Fatu, better known as The Tonga Kid, aka The Samoan Savage. His uncles are Rikishi and the late Umaga.

WWE releases unseen angles of Roman Reigns' return

The 37th annual SummerSlam ended with Roman Reigns making his surprise return to take out cousin Solo Sikoa. This allowed Roman's rival, Cody Rhodes, to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.

The Original Tribal Chief hit the ring with a Superman Punch to Sikoa, then a big Spear as the Cleveland crowd went wild. The footage below shows Reigns marching out from unseen angles so far as Sikoa and Rhodes recovered in the ring.

Reigns has been confirmed for Friday's post-SummerSlam edition of SmackDown in Omaha. It's rumored that there will be some sort of confrontation with Rhodes or The Bloodline, if not all three sides. Paul Heyman may also return to SmackDown after acknowledging Roman's surprise return at SummerSlam.
