WWE reportedly planning major angle at Saturday Night’s Main Event
WWE is just a few hours away from the return of Saturday Night's Main Event. Triple H and his team are known for pulling swerves and surprises on specials and premium live events, and tonight's special on NBC is shaping up to be no different. Sources have provided an update on SNME and another big happening planned for this week.
Saturday Night's Main Event is the main roster's last special outing until the RAW Netflix premiere on January 6 in Los Angeles. Triple H recently took to X/Twitter to hype up the premiere while also teasing that fans and stars will be at WWE HQ in Stamford for some sort of angle this Wednesday, just days after SNME. The Chief Content Officer did not provide further details but asked if fans were ready.
Officials apparently have big angles planned for Saturday Night's Main Event and whatever is in the works for WWE HQ on Wednesday. A new report from Fightful Select notes that the company has booked extras for both days.
Enhancement talents were seemingly brought to Uniondale, NY, for an angle on tonight's live SNME episode from Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Furthermore, on Wednesday, extras were booked for the teased angle at company headquarters in Stamford, CT.
Sources have not elaborated on what might be planned for the extras at SNME, but a major potential spoiler on one history-making match was recently revealed. CM Punk may also be doing guest commentary with the returning Jesse Ventura tonight.
