WWE reportedly scrapped major stable angle on RAW

WWE presented the RAW Season Premiere on Monday from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The final red brand Season Premiere on the USA Network featured several major moments and key angles, but sources have now revealed a big change that was shelved for later.

Triple H is a big fan of factions in pro wrestling, and the current WWE product seems to be proof of that. RAW features several top stables such as The Wyatt Sicks, The Judgment Day, Damage CTRL, The Final Testament, The LWO, American Made, Pure Fusion Collective, and Alpha Academy. There are also several factions on SmackDown and NXT, including The Bloodline, Legado del Fantasma, Fatal Influence, Gallus, and The D'Angelo Family, among others.

WWE reportedly had plans for a big faction angle on Monday's RAW Season Premiere, according to WRKD Wrestling. The segment would have seen a certain stable gain a new member.

Sources have not confirmed which RAW faction was to get a new member, but it was noted that the addition is still expected in the future. The angle was planned as late as right before RAW began, and WRKD confirmed the creative delay a few minutes before 10pm ET, which was right after Pure Fusion Collection lost to Zelina Vega, Lyra Valkyria, and the returning Natalya.

The change being confirmed right after the six-woman match is interesting as the majority of fan speculation leans toward Natalya as the Superstar in question. There's a belief that WWE delayed Natalya's heel turn because they were in Canada. Many pointed to how Natalya's ring gear, which could be easily modified backstage, matched her partners, but her jacket and hat matched PFC's Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler.

The Queen of Harts made her return on RAW after being away since early June. Following her loss to the debuting Kiana James that night, Deville asked Natalya if she wanted to talk. The Hart Family member walked off after borrowing a line from her Uncle Owen Hart by declaring, "Enough is enough, it's time for a change!"
